Dyslexiphoria

I chose the title "Dyslexiphoria" because it felt like it summed up my existence perfectly. I am a queer/trans person of color who has mental health issues, trauma, disabilities, and dyslexia. As such I feel like I am constantly trying to read situations that are moving and changing and never were designed with me in mind.    

Dyslexiphoria is a collection of my poetry from over the years. Some of the poems may seem to be repeats, but that is because I have stitched poems together or echoed similar themes.   

These poems deal with some pretty intense topics like depression, dysphoria, sexual assault, and more. So, please take your time, practice self-care and reach out to those around you. Please know you are not alone and I hope these poems can strike a cord with you wherever you are in your journey.
